Rich concentrates his practice in the areas of creditor rights, business, contracts, and commercial litigation. Before joining our firm he was a partner in the law firm of Pearson | Butler. He has practiced law in Salt Lake City since 1979.
Rich is a retired Lieutenant Colonel (JAG Legal Officer) in the U.S. Army Reserves. In his early career, he served as Associate General Counsel for Gulf Energy Corporation, as a prosecutor, and as a consumer fraud investigator for the Washington State Attorney General. Rich has been cited several times as one of “Utah’s Legal Elite” and is a frequent speaker for corporate events. He is also listed as a Court qualified mediator.
