COLE s. cannon
Mr. Cannon graduated in economics and political science from the University of Utah with Honors (HBS, 2004). He then attended the University of Southern California for a master degree in public policy (MPP, 2005), where Mr. Cannon focused on benefit- cost analysis, public-private partnerships, and international markets. Mr. Cannon was nominated for the annual Biller Award for his team’s study of deregulation of hypodermic needles. Mr. Cannon is a proud alumnus of the University of San Diego School of Law (JD, 2007) where he also pursued his LLM in Taxation (LLM-Tax, 2008). Mr. Cannon was student body president of his law school and currently serves on the student affairs committee of the alumni board of USD.

As an attorney in Washington, D.C., Joseph gained experience in both personally advising clients on individual matters, and participating in large, international litigation teams. At a small litigation firm, Joseph represented construction subcontractors and business owners, managing clients' cases from initial pleadings, through the discovery process, to post-judgment proceedings. He also assisted international law firms in their representation of Japanese corporate clients, providing legal review of Japanese documents in federal investigations, mergers, divestitures, and litigation proceedings.
While in law school, Joseph was a member of the Administrative Law Review, a joint publication with the Administrative Law Section of the American Bar Association. He was also a law clerk for the General Counsel of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission's Montgomery County Planning Board and Judge Derek P. Pullan of Utah's Fourth Judicial District Court.
Joseph is licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Minnesota, Utah, and the U.S. District Court of Utah. Joseph lives in Davis County with his wife and son.

Lane is a civil and commercial litigation attorney with over ten years of experience specializing in collections, contract enforcement and creditor’s rights. Lane has collected millions of dollars while litigating on behalf of individuals, small businesses and several Fortune 500 companies such as JPMorgan Chase Bank, Nationwide, Barclays, Key Bank, Sysco, Ryder, and International Paper. For his work in Collection Law, Lane was voted to Utah's 2017 Legal Elite, a listing of the top lawyers in Utah in their field as voted by their peers.

Whether it’s real estate, corporate work, or surrogacy agreements, Pace drafts and reviews transactional documents and agreements with the technical contract drafting experience to protect your interests and streamline any deal or corporate function. He has negotiated trademark settlement disputes with over-seas multi-national corporations, drafted secured loan agreements facilitating millions of dollars of private financing, advised clients on various commercial real estate transactions across the country, and devised corporate structures for parent companies and subsidiaries to function in multiple jurisdictions. Additionally, Pace is applying his extensive drafting experience to gestational surrogacy, assisting parents and gestational carriers navigate the legal world of surrogacy through in vitro fertilization.
Pace joined Cannon Law Group in 2015 and is currently licensed in Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law, where he was selected as a Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute Scholar to work in its New Venture Development Program. His legal studies emphasized business, corporate and transactional law, where he excelled and graded at the top of his New Venture Development class emphasizing the latest legal developments in intellectual property, licensing, and venture capital financing.
